We’re doing more work to prepare for our fall garden. It’s taking a lot of planning to make sure we rotate our crops and properly mix compatible plants near each other. More seedlings will be ready to go in the ground in the next 2 weeks or so. The tomatillos are looking nice but still no signs of broccoli sprouts.

The pumpkins, butternut squash and honeydews are all growing well. Hopefully we’ll start seeing some rapid growth from them as the days are shortening. I sure am ready for homemade pumpkin pie with eggs from our chickens and pumpkins from our garden!
