The Easter Lilies that surround the Crepe Myrtles are in full bloom. They look and smell wonderful. It’s nice to have all this beauty along with stuff we can eat.

We have a few peppers and tomatoes that will be ready in a few days. There are also a few Kentucky Pole beans too. The vines of the beans are growing up and around the lattice I mounted to the fence. They’ll get plenty of support to grow us lots of beans. The potatoes are sprouting very well.

The potato plants will be buried a in a few more days. Growing the potatoes in vertical cages helps to control diseases normally associated with potatoes. It allows us to cycle our soil and compost for the potatoes.

The water tower is holding plenty of water. One end has wild flowers growing nearly as tall as the tower.
